CAPTAIN CODY BROUGHTON

Capt. Broughton was born in Mobile, AL. He was raised on and still lives on Dauphin Island. As a native to Dauphin Island he has been literally fishing the bays, rivers, and offshore waters of the Gulf of America since he was in diapers.  He comes from a long line of fisherman and has been involved with boating since he was a small child. Cody is married to his childhood sweetheart.

Cody began managing a beach equipment rental business on the island shortly after graduating high school. Cody then went to work in the oil field for a 6 year period where he become a merchant mariner in 2017 and received several other certifications. He is now owner of that same beach equipment rental business, here on Dauphin Island, that he once managed just out of high school, Chaise N’ Rays. Cody has been a part of several fishing tournament wins, and at the helm for the current Alabama Yellowfin Tuna record. He has also spent a tremendous amount of time as a commercial fisherman in the Gulf as well.

You could call Cody the Dauphin Island beach boy. He is the complete waterman. If its too rough to be out in the Gulf fishing maybe you can talk him into taking you to one of the local beaches to surf!
